The Accelerator Programme Demo Day is taking place online on Wednesday 14 July to celebrate the end of the 10-week programme and provide the cohort of early-stage tech businesses the opportunity to pitch their exciting products and services for the very first time.

Created to meet the demands of the growing sharing economy, Piier enables consumers and businesses to share items conveniently via an all in one app. Piier helps its customers to generate an income from their underused possessions and assets, with Ahmed describing his community-focussed solution as ‘the Facebook market-place for sharing’.
Wobblefit is a digital platform that helps women who have an Endocrine Disorder to regain control over their physical fitness and health. Having built an MVP, Emma is gaging user feedback and testing critical assumptions before going to market and potentially ‘white labelling’ the platform for other users.
Assessment Key Ltd
Assessment Key is a digital tool that has been developed by Social Worker and Lecturer Rohan Hunter. This platform will assist Social Workers (and other safeguarding organisations) with the management of child welfare cases while assisting with the writing of detailed court reports.
Helidragon is a specialist drone aerial imaging company servicing the Heavy Engineering, Oil & Gas, Marine and Construction sectors. Its services include creative video, photography and video editing, through to survey mapping and asset inspection.

Indigo Spark is a Stockton-based software business that specialises in the creation of tools that help its clients manage Training & Apprenticeship Programmes. Studiworks is an educational web application which has a key focus on combatting the issue of ‘cyberslacking’ in young people. One particular challenge is around students being distracted by social media when they should be studying or revising for exams. To counter this – and to also support mental health and wellbeing – the Studiworks team has created a platform that is made up of engaging content and helps the student to better manage their time.
Jack Pickering founded Snapps to provide businesses in the hospitality sector with an affordable range of instant mobile apps which are both easy to manage and instantly accessible by their customers. In 2021 alone more than 38,000 orders have been placed on Snapps, and over £600,000 worth of payments processed. Well known Tees Valley-based brands already on the ‘Snapps network’ include Tomahawk Steakhouse, Manjaros, The Ship and Leven Hotel to name but a few.
All of the businesses will present a five-minute pitch, followed by a Q&A session giving you the chance to find out more.
