We’re running a short, sharp Investor Readiness programme to help you demystify and prepare for potential investment, whether that be now or in the future.
Across three peer-to-peer online workshops you’ll gain an invaluable insight into what makes a business investable and how you can become investment ready. Joined in delivery by financial experts, Edale you’ll learn alongside likeminded peers as we cover a range of key areas including:
-Different investment products, models and structures including their advantages and disadvantages.
-The importance of market, value proposition and communicating them to an investor audience
-Legal requirements and what to consider both legally and commercially
-Financial models, valuations and pitfalls
-Developing pipeline and sales forecasts and effectively communicating these to your audience
-Team needs and requirements
-How to articulate the investor proposition and return on investment
-What a pitch deck should include and how business owners should present it
The fourth and final session will provide the opportunity to gain real world experience of pitching as you practice your pitch deck with peers and mentors, while learning how to handle questions from experienced investors.
Not only that, you’ll also receive a one-to-one mentoring session with course leaders to discuss your individual needs in more detail.

After week four, businesses will have the opportunity to receive up to 4 hours of 1-2-1 support to discuss investment plans going forward.
