Are you an ambitious Tees Valley digital business owner who is looking to grow?

We’re searching for ambitious and driven digital/tech business leaders to join this programme, who would like to take the next step towards the growth of their business by getting investor ready.

Joined by financial experts Edale, our Investment Readiness Programme will be delivered through four sessions, where we will provide you with detailed insights into what makes a business investable and through workshops, we will prepare you for potential investment, whenever that time may come.

You’ll learn alongside other inspiring business leaders, making you investment and funding ready by covering a variety of key topics including:

  • Funding, investment and cash options for 2023
  • How to present, story tell and what to pitch
  • Learn about valuation methods and the investment process
  • Key elements in a pitch deck and developing a storyboard
  • Making an investment case
  • How to ace any financier/investor Q&A

In the final session, participants will have the opportunity to gain experience in pitching in a real-life setting. They will be able to practise their pitch with peers and mentors, as well as presenting their pitch desk to a friendly investor panel which will give participants experience in how to handle and answer questions from experienced investors.

The programme will also include bespoke support including a 1-1 mentoring session and consultancy support to discuss your individual plans and needs in more detail, either virtual or face to face.
