Our Accelerator Programme Demo Day 2022 took place earlier this month at Basecamp Middlesbrough and what a fantastic turn out we had! We would like to thank all of those who attended and listened to the diverse, early-stage digital and tech businesses from the Tees Valley as they pitched their exciting products and services for the very first time:
Anvesaka Yoga – A Stockton-based business that is building an interactive digital platform for aerial arts training.
Celador Ltd – A Hartlepool-based tech company producing an innovative software solution to aid mental health & wellbeing.
Close-Knit CIC – Creating a digital platform and immersive content for parents to aid brain development in young children.
Knock Out Depression – Developing boxing themed digital tools to assist young men with their mental health.
Mi-Box Live – Launching a unique children’s board game that is linked to an app and aids Maths tuition.
SeerBI – A big data company offering a variety of services to the logistics and maritime sectors.
XMPLAR – A Hartlepool-based business that uses digital technology to authenticate high end footwear products.
We also heard from our guest speaker and Accelerator Alumni member Peter Holdsworth, CEO at Odyssea Memory Applications. He completed the DigitalCity Accelerator Programme and his business has developed significantly from the support provided by DigitalCity. Odyssea Memory Applications are now launching their very own family social media memory app next month!
We are now taking applications for our next Accelerator Programme due to commence this Autumn.
