From cyber security specialists and games developers through to holistic practitioners engaging with their audiences digitally, DigitalCity welcomes yet another diverse and exciting cohort of Tees Valley entrepreneurs onto its latest Accelerator Programme.
The programme has temporarily transitioned online to continue its support amid the Covid-19 crisis. Over the course of 10-weeks, it will work with ten tech start-ups on their innovative products and ideas through weekly virtual workshops, one-to-one mentoring and provide access to a business development grant.
The first session took place earlier this week where the businesses on board met up in a virtual classroom environment to introduce themselves before diving straight into discussions around human-centred design led by industry experts.
The latest cohort of businesses are:
–Holistic Academy Network – A digital platform for holistic practitioners to educate and showcase how to live a more harmonious, holistic lifestyle through different practices.
–3Double – A mobile 3D scanning and printing business that creates photo realistic, full colour 3D models helping clients bypass the booth and place orders at a distance
–Sencode – A cyber security company that supplies security-conscious commercial organisations with a range of solutions and services, including an e-learning platform
–Key Wellbeing – A workforce wellbeing consultancy and training company that delivers bespoke online wellbeing programmes and initiatives.
–Living Archive – A SaaS platform that enables organisations to search and present archived media to their employees, clients, and/ or audiences.
–OmniPlay – A Middlesbrough-based start-up games studio that develops its own IP and products, as well as offering its expertise to other video games companies.
–Create Teesside – A business networking platform that helps to enhance localised recruitment and graduate employment whilst addressing skills shortages and business sustainability.
-Zookabu – A multi-vendor, group buying, online marketplace that brings the power of group buying to the individual consumer.
