Thinking about entering the Tees Tech Awards? Last year’s rising star winner Chloe Clover, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Wander Films tells us all about the impact the awards have had on herself, the business and why businesses should enter!
The impact has been pretty amazing! Internally it has given us that boost of confidence as a team. One of our values is Dreams Achieved by Teams, we are all working towards the same goals so to win an award like this is just confirmation that everyone’s efforts are being noticed! The PR from the awards is incredible too, so even to be shortlisted has a big impact!
Wow – that’s a big question! I think it’s helped me to realise I am actually a leader and that this thing that started as 2 girls and a broken GoPro in Australia is now reaching some incredible heights. There’s a team of super-talented people with us now and I feel pretty honoured.
Businesses should enter the awards because it is a time to reflect on everything you’ve achieved over the past 12 months! Sometimes we’re so busy that we forget to acknowledge the journey! It’s so cool to celebrate other businesses’ successes too and you get to learn about new people and companies! It’s free to enter so there’s nothing to lose really!
I think my advice is to just go for it. Every little win means something to you so why not shout out about it! We’re all super humble but again it’s awesome to reflect on all the things the company has achieved. Go for it!
